If you are using insurance, the session rate and coverage is determined by the insurance company and your policy. If you are paying out of pocket, the intake session costs $175 and all subsequent sessions cost $150.

Yes! Rove Therapy currently accepts Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oxford, UHC, UMR, United Shared Services, and ConnectiCare.
If your insurance plan includes Out of Network (OON) benefits, you may be able to get reimbursed even if we are not in-network—check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.

Sessions run for 50 minutes.

At Rove Therapy we typically meet with clients weekly, as it helps build a strong working relationship and supports consistent progress.

We ask new clients to meet weekly for the first 6 sessions. This helps us build rapport, gather important background information, and create a foundation for our work together. After this period, we can revisit your schedule and adjust session frequency as needed.

It’s a relaxed conversation where the therapist and client begin getting to know each other. While there will be some guiding questions, the focus is on building trust, understanding what brought the client in, and creating space for their goals. There's no need to have it all figured out — just come as you are.

Rove Therapy currently only offers Telehealth services.

We ask that you provide a 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no shows will result in a fee.

Rove Therapy is able to work with clients located in New York and Connecticut, in accordance with licensing requirements.
