1. What do sessions cost?

For those utilizing insurance, the session rate is determined by the provider and the copay depends on your policy. If you are not utilizing insurance, the intake session costs $175 and every subsequent session costs $150.

2. Do you accept insurance?

Yes! Rove therapy currently accepts Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oxford, UHC, UMR and Out of Network benefits if it applies to your insurance policy.

3. How long do sessions run?

Sessions run for 50 minutes.

4. What will the first session look like?

The purpose of the first session is to gather relevent information, establish a foundation for the therapeutic relationship and idenitfy the client's goals. It is the first chance the therapist and client get to know each other.

5. How frequently are sessions held?

Rove Therapy typically meets with clients on a weekly basis. This is reccomended to build the therapeutic relationship. If you are interested in more or less sessions per week, please contact us to discuss this.

6. Where are sessions held?

Rove Therapy currently only offers Telehealth services. We utilize the secure platform Zoom for all sessions.

7. What is the cancelation policy?

We ask that you inform us 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time if you are unable to attend. Failure to do so will result in a late cancelation fee.

8. Who can Rove Therapy work with?

Rove Therapy is able to meet with clients located in New York and Connecticut due to licensing requirements.
